(6*6inches, 2-D Collage)

from left to right (The Moon and Six Pence, Pursuing, Distorted Face)

Inspired by the book, The Moon and Six Pence, I created a series of black and white collages to portray the process of pursuing one’s dream. In the first collage, the moon on the left represents the fragility of a dream while accompanying of six pence-reality. The second collage describes the process of pursuing and the third one depicts the outcome when people strive to balance both. This story of people’s internal conflict perfectly applies to every individual since we can be consistently confused, hesitating about picking either the side of reality or the side of the dream.
